“IA Called- Now What” will explore the discipline process for public safety dispatchers from the original complaint through the investigation to the proposed discipline, appeal process and the final disposition.
We will focus on behaviors that land dispatchers in Internal Affairs, what to expect once you arrive, and how to act during the interview. This course will also explain the differences between formal and informal discipline and employee rights during questioning.
This class is tailored to be specific to our industry and deals with problems and situations unique to PSAP’s across the state.
This is an interactive class with a “High Energy” instructor. Class participants are strongly encouraged to bring a copy of their own MOU or contract with them for reference and discussion.
